Warehouse Storeperson – Sydney NSW
Company : Gate GourmetThis position involves working within our Freezer /Chiller area.
A typical day, you would be responsible for:

• Performing receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors.
• Day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations including but not limited to goods receiving, unpacking, packing, quality checking.
• Inspecting incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf life.
• Moving product (use moving equipment – forklift, pallet jack), stock, FIFO freezer, cold room and dry goods.
• Maintaining inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized manner.
• Conducting inventory counts and count sheets.
• Retrieving product as requested via SIPs.

About you

• Warehousing experience, preferably within a food related environment.
• Forklift license. Preferable but not a requirement.
• Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.
• A “can-do” attitude with a strong work ethic and a sense of fun!
• Ability to work across a rotational 7-day roster across mornings and afternoons.
• Driver’s license.
