Access theThe Townsville Hospital and Health Service vision is world-class healthcare for northern Queensland.Our purpose is `great care every day’.About your opportunity:Permanent part-time / 64 hours per fortnight / Location: TownsvilleThis is a multi-disciplinary position – applications are being sought from Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and/or Social Workers.Post hospitalisation aftercare services has been identified as a promising suicide prevention strategy by keeping high-risk individuals connected with support services and networks to promote safe living.The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate care provision with the Universal Aftercare Service provider, ensuring that consumers requiring clinical care post hospital discharge, experience coordinated, cohesive, and appropriate care across their clinical and non-clinical recovery journey.All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service.What the Townsville Hospital and Health Service has to offer:

  • Generous remuneration package value up to $128,652 p.a. (HP4) or $138,691 p.a. (NG7) comprising:
  • Salary range of $62.75 to $72.58 p.h. (HP4/NG7)
  • Relocation Incentives may be applicable to eligible candidates
  • Annual leave with relevant loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

  • Proof of qualification (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and/or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Blue Card Checks required.
  • Possession of class C drivers’ licence.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
