Duties:Reporting into the shift supervisor on site, you’ll enjoy working in a maintenance crew of 13 tradespeople. Duties will include:

• Workshop duties – servicing, component change outs, scheduled and preventative maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics, general maintenance.
• Field service duties – breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, general repairs to get machinery going, servicing on field fleet

Equipment on sitePerform maintenance on a range of underground mining equipment, including:

• Sandvik 621 loaders
• Sandvik DD421 jumbos
• Sandvik DL421 drills
• Epiroc Simba rigs
• Volvo integrated tool carriers (ITs)
• Normet charge-up machines
• Normet shotcrete machines
• Sandvik 663 trucks
• Elphinstone Agitators (Agi’s)
• Elphinstone water carts

FIFO/ DIDOGreat opportunity to secure a role on an 8:6/ 7:7 roster (days and nights) from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, alternately DIDO form Mount Isa or Cloncurry.

• Wednesday to Wednesday roster
• Charter flight from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns to Cloncurry
• Site is only a 25 minute bus ride from the airport
• DIDO form Mount Isa or Cloncurry for higher earning potential

Camp facilitiesLocated in North QLD, 25 minute bus ride north of Cloncurry, the site boasts fantastic accommodation facilities, including:

• A wetness with a large outdoor deck
• A pool
• Arcade machines
• A walking track around the camp
• Large oval
• Tennis court
• Indoor and outdoor gyms
• Nightly cricket, soccer and football games on the oval.
• Tug of ware competitions with all of site involvement

Your valueYou will have come from a trade qualified background and ideally have experience working on mobile plant equipment:

• Minimum of 1-2+ recent years working on heavy vehicles or mobile plant equipment
• Breakdowns and first response problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality results
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
