Tyre Fitter

About the RoleExcellent opportunity to join a well-known Gold Coast transport business. Full-time role leading to a perm contract.Opportunity to be trained in large transport vehicles.5am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities.Primary duties will include:

• Running the daily checks and maintenance on a large fleet of transportation vehicles tyres
• Changing tyres, measuring tyre depths and carrying out weekly tyre checks
• Use machinery – tyre changing and balancing equipment – full training provided
• Daily paperwork and use of in-house computer programs
• Manual handling and lifting of tyres, as well as use of tools
• Assisting tradespeople to change oils, and filters – general mechanical duties

This role requires a Qualified OR Experienced Tyre Fitter to work on large vehicles, to complete a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment that is subject to meeting different state transport legislative requirements.

About You:You must possess the following:

• Trade Qualified / Experienced Tyre Fitter
• Truck Licence is desirable
• Be able to take ownership of your role and work within a team environment
• Be able to work under pressure to meet daily targets
