• Full time ongoing position on the Aspley Unit, Thomas Embling Hospital
• Based at Thomas Embling Hospital, Fairfield

About the role:

• Undertake relevant social work assessments and engage consumers in social work interventions.
• Work with consumers, families/carers and external services to addresses psychosocial and forensic needs, court/legal issues and transition planning.
• Working within the multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver individual and group interventions to support recovery.

About You:

• Demonstrated skills, experience and interest in forensic mental health social work and/or social work in statutory, forensic or custodial settings.
• Working knowledge and application of legislation, practice guidelines and passion for client-centred mental health care
• Enthusiastic and willing to bring your experience and skills to an acute practice setting.
