With a strong presence in the Northern Territory, they are known for their commitment to community development and sustainable practices.About The OpportunityAs a Side Loader Waste Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, contributing to the efficient collection and management of waste. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating the side loader waste truck
- Collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with local regulations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintaining accurate records of waste collection activities
- Providing excellent customer service while interacting with the public
This is a FIFO position with a schedule of 4 weeks on and 1 week off.About YouThe successful candidate will have:
- Possess a valid HR licence
- Experience with side-lift/side-loader trucks
- Background in the waste and recycling industry
- 1+ year of experience operating waste trucks in residential zones
