Senior Parts Interpreter

Our client in Erskine Park is looking for a senior parts interpreter to join their team. This role is focused on providing the best possible service to the workshop and customers in an efficient manner. You can use your mechanical aptitude and good customer service skills to make this role yours. If you are an analytical and motivated individual then this role is for you!About the role
Our client is looking for a Senior Parts Interpreter that is capable of achieving goals, solving problems and taking initiative without micromanagement.Duties

• Ensure the phone and counter sales functions are carried out professionally and courteously.
• Order parts as required for customers or workshop.
• Follow up on all credit returns to the supplier.
• Ensure all internal procedures are followed and completed correctly.
• Any other duties as required by your manager from time to time.
• Receive and process all incoming stock from deliveries.
• Check, inspect and authorise all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders
• Review stocking levels and action or report as required.

Skills and experience

• Must hold prior experience in a parts department or a 2IC role.
• Experience with Heavy Vehicle Truck Industry essential.
• Panel beating trade qualification highly desirable
• Strong communication role
• Computer savvy
• Outside-the-box thinker
• Action-orientated and motivated
• Someone who empowers their team members to achieve.
