Senior ETL Test Analyst- Sydney/anywhere in AustraliaWe are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL testing, SQL, and working with various job schedulers and tools such as Control-M, Informatica, and Abinitio. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of cloud environments (Azure/AWS), DevOps practices, and strong stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
• SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to validate data transformation, extraction, and loading processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Job Scheduling: Work with Control-M or other job scheduling tools to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation, ensuring transparent communication and tracking.
• Informatica/Abinitio: Test ETL processes using Informatica or Abinitio tools, ensuring that data is correctly transformed and loaded into target systems.
• Cloud Environment: Work with ETL processes in cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and data flow.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps teams using Jenkins, GitHub, and other CI/CD tools to automate and integrate testing processes within the development pipeline.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide test status updates, and manage expectations effectively.
• Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with Agile practices.
• Communication Skills: Clearly articulate testing strategies, defects, and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL Testing and related technologies.
• SQL: Strong experience in writing and debugging complex SQL queries.
• Job Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
• Informatica/Abinitio: Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica or Abinitio.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience working in cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS.
• DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile teams, utilizing Jira and Confluence for project management.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Australian PR/Citizen/full work rights to work in Australia
• Ability to commence in a short duration
