Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world’s cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home -just as we have for over 130 years.If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what’s right, you’re in the right place.About the Role(s)Reporting to the Area Manager of Construction Assessment & Delivery Services, and based at Melbourne Water’s 990 La Trobe Street, Dockland Office, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of Development Services Schemes (DSS) Assets, such as Retarding Basins, Constructed Wetlands and Waterways, Pipeline and culverts etc.Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Assessment of the detailed design application of DSS assets
  • Project management
  • Risk Management
  • Customer Service Excellence and Relationship Management

About you:

  • Experience in decision making relating to in Civil Engineering, Land Development and urban planning including Waterway Design / Flood Resilience / Integrated Water Management / Stormwater engineering projects and approvals strongly preferred.
  • Project, workload and delegated decision-making experience required.
  • Experience in Victorian Statutory Planning processes and legislation preferred.
  • Experience in Financial Management of Development Services Schemes, Development Contribution Scheme or other Infrastructure Contribution Plans preferred.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Civil/Land Development Engineering required.
