Public Law Litigation Lawyer

The role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Associate to join a busy team in the Public Law sector. On-going training and mentorship will be provided, but you will need litigation and dispute resolution experience. The role will include:

• Providing clients with legal advice on administrative decision-making, FOI, privacy and litigation involving merit review and judicial review proceedings
• Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
• Prioritising work and delivering services effectively
• Effective communication with stakeholders
• Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy

About you:

• 1-3 years’ PAE in government litigation
• A desire to be an integral member of a strong, cohesive and down to earth team
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Strong drafting skills
• Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills
• Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
