This role will focus on expanding and enhancing the audio experience across our diverse portfolio, including web, mobile apps, smart speakers, in-car systems, and other emerging audio platforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of audio entertainment for millions of Australians.As Nine’s Product Manager, Streaming (Audio), you will be the driving force behind the evolution of our audio streaming platforms, including 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, and 6PR. Leverage your passion for audio, data-driven insights, and collaborative spirit to develop innovative features and experiences that captivate listeners and drive engagement. Collaborate with talented teams, analyze user behaviour, and stay ahead of industry trends to create a world-class audio streaming ecosystem that solidifies Nine’s position as a leader in the digital audio landscape.As the Product Manager, Streaming (Audio), you will:

  • Drive the product vision: Develop and champion a compelling product strategy for Nine’s audio offerings, aligning with broader business goals and audience needs.
  • Own the audio experience: Be the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and ensuring a seamless, engaging audio experience across all platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams: Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, content teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to bring audio products to life.
  • Data-driven decision making: Utilise analytics and user feedback to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future development.
  • Explore new platforms: Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and integrating new audio technologies and platforms into Nine’s product portfolio.
  • Optimise for engagement and monetization: Develop strategies to increase user engagement, drive listenership, and unlock new revenue opportunities

QualificationsYou have a passion for consumer products and technology, and are excited by the challenge of making a positive impact on how millions of Australians consume media every day. We’d particularly like to hear from you if you have…

  • Proven experience in Product Management, preferably within the media, streaming, or advertising industry.
  • A strong understanding of audio technologies, platforms, and formats.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions to drive product improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex ideas and concepts.
  • A track record of successfully launching and managing innovative products in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology, media, and staying up-to-date with industry trends
