Procurement Opportunities

Gympie Regional Council has two exciting opportunities for experienced professionals to join our Procure to Pay team. The Coordinator Procure to Pay position will be a permanent full time engagement, and the Procurement Advisor position will work closely with the Coordinator and is for a fixed period of 2 years.

Coordinator Procure to Pay (permanent, full time)

Remuneration: Annual salary commencing at $118,269 plus superannuation

Role Overview

The Coordinator Procure to Pay position will be responsible for the development of procurement policy and procedures, as well as to advise stakeholders on procurement processes to ensure compliance with relevant acts and regulations.

This position will also be required to ensure timely payment of creditor invoices and management of inventory.

Procurement Advisor – Fixed Term Contract – 2 years

Remuneration: Annual salary commencing at $150,000 plus superannuation

Role Overview

To ensure that Council conducts procurement activities in accordance with legislation, Council policies and the corporate plan through the development and implementation of a strategic procurement framework.

Develop the skills of officers undertaking procurement and stores functions within council to ensure the delivery of best practice support services.

To provide expert procurement and supply chain advice and support for council’s strategic plan and projects.
