Process Engineer

Our client, a leading mechanical engineering company who develop bespoke sheet metal solutions for the industrial, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industry, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team based in Sydney.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for construction projects.
• Conduct process analysis and simulations to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers/drafters to ensure manufacturability of new products and designs.
• Implement process control strategies to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to the production team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within construction of pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and industrial projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication equipment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
