NATIONAL CREDIT MANAGER – MARLESTON

THE ROLE…
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide leadership and direction to the credit team. Working closely with your people you will ensure the continued growth of our cash flow through effective collection techniques, whilst enhancing our brand and reputation through outstanding customer service.Your day-to-day will also include (but not limited to):

• Reviewing all Liquidation, Creditors Petitions and Administration paperwork received
• Ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debt to meet targets and minimise bad debts and risk exposure
• Managing and Reviewing Aged Trial Balance with Team and Senior Management, Daily, Weekly and Monthly
• Leading the AR Team and Review Performance
• Monthly National Support Office reporting
• Monitoring cash sale payments and store compliance order release
• Providing AR advice to Franchisees
• Managing the credit insurance ensuring appropriate coverage in line with policies
• Working with the broader business suggesting process improvement to the extent it impacts the collectability of debt

YOU…
To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Previous experience as a Credit Manager
• A sound working knowledge of credit control and collection processes
• Experience in managing high-volume trial balance
• Proven negotiation skills
• Construction/Building industry experience is not essential – but highly desirable
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop your team
• An outstanding attitude and passion for the business
