Our client is an established and highly respected GP centre operating from a busy and central shopping plaza in Lower Templestowe. The practice hosts three GPs covering Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm. A small, exceptional administration team who are long standing team members, love their jobs and work environment and provide efficient, coordinated support to the practitioners and patients. The practice is paperless and well organised utilising Best Practice software. Following the retirement of the practice’s Medical Receptionist, there now exists a terrific opportunity for a skilled and experienced medical administrator/receptionist to join the team on a part time basis, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 1pm – 6pm plus a full day on alternate Friday’s. From time to time you will be offered additional hours to cover the Leave of your colleagues.As the Medical Receptionist you will be involved with all aspects of front office duties including (but not limited to):

• Meeting, greeting and farewelling patients in a friendly and engaging manner
• Managing appointments – scheduling, confirmations, rescheduling and triage
• Phones – managing a two line switch, responding to patient queries and request for appointments etc
• Billing, Payments, Receipting – this is a bulk billing practice ● Scanning and other administration tasks as required

About You:
The role is suited to an individual who is passionate about, and committed to, excellence in patient engagement, empathy and service. Prior, relevant working experience within a GP or specialist medical practice is essential for your success in this environment – therefore you will need to carefully detail your related experience within your application. The Medical Receptionist role is offered on a permanent part time basis. An hourly rate of $35.00 p/h + Superannuation is offered coupled with a fantastic work environment, supportive colleagues and established leading practitioners.
