Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region:About the role:The Junior Medical Workforce Officer is responsible for all day to day operational and employment aspects for Junior Medical staff at GV Health under the guidance of the Officer Coordinator and Manager of Medical Workforce. The Junior Medical Workforce Officer will work closely with the Manager Medical Workforce to ensure that processes and policies in place for the Medical Workforce Team align with GV Health, legislative and best practice standards. This role will encompass duties across both our business as usual operational activity for our salaried junior medical staff and locum workforce delegated duties (for both senior and junior medical staff).Successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of internal external clients
  • Proven ability to allocate timeframes and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and be capable of managing stressful situations
  • Proven ability to prioritise workloads and manage several tasks concurrently on a daily basis
  • Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and contribute positively to projects and initiatives as part of a team
  • Sound judgement and maturity to handle sensitive and complex matters competently
