HR Partners by Randstad have an opportunity for an experienced IR/HR Advisor to join our government client. This role is a temporary assignment for a 2-3 month period offering flexible working arrangements. If you have government, ER and IR experience this is the role for you.

About the role:
This role is responsible for providing specialist IR/HR advice to the client business unit managers to enhance business delivery capability through the effective use of workforce resources.
- Provide advice and support to senior managers and local leaders on complex case management matters, particularly discipline processes, employee grievances, medical management and performance management.
- Provide advice and support on resourcing and complex workforce management issues and develop appropriate solutions in consultation with senior managers and local leaders.
- Advise on and support the implementation of strategies to enhance leadership, technical
expertise and business management capability within the workforce. * Provide internal coaching to managers to develop their people skills and accountabilities.
- Advise and support senior managers and local leaders in the development of strategic
workforce planning for inclusion in Business Plans. * Provide specialist support to the implementation of appropriate business initiatives toensure alignment of capability and achievement of the business outcomes of strategic
plans local business plans. * Provide input into the review process used to measure progress in business performance,and workforce planning, against relevant business plans. * Develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal clients andexternal stakeholders and providers. * Provide flexibility in facilitating the development of business solutions to customer issues.
- Develop regular reporting and two-way communication with customer groups, internal and
external clients, and key stakeholders. * Work with internal/external HR providers to ensure an integrated HR managementapproach. * Contribute to Workforce projects as a project team member or leader Implement and drivecustomer change strategy and initiatives. About the individual:
- Demonstrates a high-level understanding of Human Resource disciplines and applies
knowledge of policies, procedures and instruction instruments independently. * Can describe the vision for their area. Able to describe how their work contributes to organisational objectives.
