The Green Recruitment Company (TGRC) is currently supporting an international renewable energy developer in building out their investment team.
Reporting locally but with regular interaction to international teams, this person will play a key role in managing the investment analysis of the Australia market, across their energy mix.
Your role:
Undertaking all aspects of investment analysis across the entire project finance and M&A transaction cycle
Commercial structuring and negotiation of key project agreements
Prepare and manage requests for proposal or financing terms for transaction advisors, tax advisors and/or lenders
Maintain a keen understanding of the various lenders and their appetite for projects
Manage cash-flow based financial models for energy projects.
Perform analysis of key risks by challenging inputs to ensure a realistic representation of the deal risk profile
Your profile:
A good degree of experience gained across corporate development, project finance and M&A
Strong working knowledge of the renewable energy sector
Experience in structuring deals and optimizing investment cases
Experience in optimizing debt structures, financial ratios and cash flow
Sense of initiative and ability to work unsupervised
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
