These are permanent, full-time and part-time opportunities, starting Term 1 2025 at our Wheelers Hill Campus.The ideal candidate will showcase a profound passion for the Humanities learning area and captivating and stimulating students while adeptly incorporating innovative learning technologies. We are seeking individuals of high energy, enthusiasm, forward-thinking mindset, and aspirational teaching practices to join our dedicated Humanities team, working collaboratively to achieve learning area goals.Key Duties

  • Review and assess students at the beginning of each program to provide a flexible program that caters for individual students
  • Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn and integrate Formative Assessment Techniques
  • Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
  • Design and deliver conceptually driven, student-centered learning activities
  • Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
  • Provide reports within school standards and timelines
  • Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience teaching Years 7-10 Geography and History
  • A genuine passion and enthusiasm for teaching Humanities and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is values-driven, able to work collaboratively in a small team, and achieves KPIs set
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Interest in co-curricular aspects is desirable and is able to contribute to developing curriculum
  • MYP experience is advantageous
  • Holds a Teaching Qualification alongside qualifications in History and Geography
  • Holds a current VIT Registration
