Graduate Health, Safety and Environment Advisor

Job Description:The objectives of this role are:

• Assist with HSE management plan actions involving employee awareness of risks and to reduce, avoid and protect employees from hazards in the workplace, including occupational illness or disease.
• Assists in the implementation of programs to maintain and improve the general health and safety of all employees

Responsibilities:This role will be involved with:

• Provide HSE advice, guidance, assistance and support to the Assignment.
• Facilitate consultative processes to improve communication and participation in HSEQ, promote the Health and Well-being of personnel and take the actions required to reduce our environment footprint
• Coach or otherwise develop the competencies of personnel to contribute to workplace and community HSEQ with a particular focus on

• Confined spaces, workplace inspections, Health and Wellbeing, Environmental impacts and aspects, Material storage handing and use (including hazardous chemicals).
• Facilitate the timely response to HSE issues and incidents, including the recording, reporting and analyses of HSEQ leading and lagging performance metrics.

Qualifications:Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position
• Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a particular context
• Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills
• Able to demonstrate team working skills
• Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
• Flexible with a can-do attitude
• Mobile and willing to spend time away from office location as and when operation requires
