General Manager – Thin Surfacing

Job Description:We are seeking a General Manager to lead our Thin Surfacing operations across Australia. As a key member of the Transport & Infrastructure Leadership team, you will lead from the front, utilising thought leadership whilst maintaining a focus on improved margins and robust financial returns. You are a proven people leader with the ability to support, develop and guide your teams to success. You will have demonstrated a strong commitment and delivery of effective Zero Harm practices, ensuring our safety culture is always front of mind.About YouDemonstrable exposure at a Senior Management level ideally within the spray seal, asphalt, surfacing or paving industry. Along with:

• Qualifications in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to prepare operational budgets, P&L’s as well as the ability to interrogate financial information.
• A successful track record of Zero Harm leadership as well as the ability to support operations to continually improve safety performance.
• Demonstrable exposure of delivering transformational change and continuous improvement in organisations.
• Successful track record of leadership of similar size multi-contract businesses with people focused services.
