Our client manufacture and supply the best products and equipment to suit the requirements of the building industry and the public sector. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Tradesperson for a 2-week project on a Compressor Station project in White Cliffs, NSW.Project Scope
The East Coast Grid Expansion in NSW will be facilitated by the construction of five compressor stations along the length of the Moomba to Wilton Pipeline. This BDAR addresses the biodiversity impacts of the construction and operation of one compressor station, Stage 2.
The compressor station will include:
an enclosed gas turbine driven compressor unit;
microturbine;
compressor inlet / scrubber;
a control equipment room;
two fuel gas skids;
air compressors and receivers;
associated piping, electrical equipment, instrumentation, and controls;
a station vent; and
small accommodation and maintenance buildings for operations.Your duties will include:
Torquing of flanges / flange management on small and large flanges
Use of a Hi-torque machine on larger flanges
Positioning piping and Pipe-supports/skids
General mechanical site worksInductions, Accommodation and Roster
Candidates will fly to site on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th August, commencing work the following day and returning on Thursday 22nd August.
Hire vehicles will be hired in order to transport the candidate from airport to site.
