Customer 1:1 Marketing Lead

About the role:
- Deliver all 1:1 marketing across automated programs,
- Automate personalisation communications and lifecycle programs.
- Automate needs based 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs to grow customer lifetime value and revenue generation.
- Develop new capabilities, MVPs and future needs for 1:1 marketing.
- Assist with defining and automating 1:1 marketing & personalised communication programs.
- Develop frameworks and processes for automated customer programs i.e. Outbound, Remarketing, Lifecycle – across all brands and products.
- Identify and integrate new sources of data to drive program insight and effectiveness.
Key Accountabilities:
- Strategic direction, delivery and implementation of effective 1:1 marketing to contribute to customer and financial objectives across brand, lifecycle, loyalty comms.
- Implement audience and trigger-based programs in collaboration with broader marketing automation team
- Development and management of test and learn programs to drive marketing effectiveness of existing customer 1:1 marketing programs.
- Development of frameworks and processes for automated customer programs i.e., Outbound, Remarketing, Lifecycle,
- Help support stream leads in sense and respond strategic programs e.g., Online Remarketing
- Strategic integration of Next Best Action and other key analytical models into 1:1 programs.
- Assist in developing ongoing new strategic initiatives for the 1:1 Marketing Strategy
- Identify strategic capability i.e. Omni-channel technologies to deliver customer experiences in real time
- Maximise ROI of customer lifecycle programs
- Share insights and experience to relevant workgroups on best practise customer lifecycle programs
- Work collaboratively with Digital and wider Marketing Automation teams to deliver seamless customers experiences.
- Ensure 1:1 programs are compliant by working with stakeholders and 1:1 Marketing Specialists on campaign copy audits and updates
- Self-service within 3rd party marketing automation tool like Salesforce, Responsys or Adobe in conjunction with Customer Enablement team.
About You:
- Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing Mandatory
- 5+ years’ work experience in a Direct/Digital Marketing environment
Key Capabilities/Technical Competencies:
- Direct marketing processes – including mail, OTM, online, eDM, SMS and content
- A sound knowledge of the working of advertising agencies, media agencies, online suppliers, mailhouse, response management, incentive/loyalty marketing and data agencies
- Knowledge of Marketing automation technology
- Expert in managing and implementing 1:1 and customer lifecycle programs.
- Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities.
- Excellent understanding of the evolving digital media landscape, platforms & publishers.
- Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team.
- Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution and data driven marketing strategies that deliver demonstrable business outcomes.
- The ability to develop actionable business opportunities from analysis of multiple datasets.
- Excellent judgment of high-level business questions/problems and the translation into working steps
