The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.About the RoleThe Contract Management Lead will be responsible for the delivery of detailed and high-quality contract management activities to the specialist courts and programs division.It will play a key role in developing, overseeing, and reporting against contract management plans and key performance indicators to drive contract performance, value for money, and best-possible service outcomes.Working closely with the Contracts Manager and Procurement Partners, this role will lead, engage in, and facilitate procurement activities including new and innovative approaches where appropriate, together with contract development and stakeholder management, across existing and new contacts to support the operations and program objectives of SCP.The Contract Management Lead will provide a customer centric approach to contract management and procurement activities within SCP and will be required to build and maintain outstanding relationships with program area managers, staff, suppliers and other staff across the jurisdiction and CSV.The Contract Management Lead will also facilitate reviews and manage agreements between commercial, governmental, and non-governmental stakeholders, working closely with the SCP Contracts Manager and Procurement Partners to ensure consistent procurement and contract management practices.About YouYou will have:

  • Proven experience in developing high quality contract management plans in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated specialised hands-on contract management experience in a project environment (or similar) with an emphasis on planning, executing and obtaining approvals for end-to-end contract management activities across a broad range of categories.
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement activities and requirements.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and a strong understanding of business, performance expectations and critical success factors to negotiate, manage and administer contracts and meet operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Victorian Justice system, solution focused courts and therapeutic jurisprudence is desirable.
