The role involves the oversight and management of Competitions for Senior Teams as well as Summer Football Competitions including publishing of fixtures and results tracking.Key results and objectives include:
- Collaborate to achieve the NSFA Future Football Strategy
- Provide successful competition management; fixtures, allocation and communication
- Provide timely support to members on administrative tasks; Dribl + PlayFootball
- Efficient & effective disciplinary procedure management (Protests, Disputes and Disciplinary Committee (P.D & D.C)
- Maintain and improve key stakeholder relationships
Key Performance Indicators:
- Deliver timely Competitions management; division allocations, re-grades, fixtures, results tracking, competitions using the Dribl competitions platform
- Complete regular competition reviews during the season
- Liaise with the Bookings Coordinator and Referee’s Manager to organize and publish fixtures including changes to weekend fixtures due to wet weather and reschedules
- Identify trends and areas for improvement and opportunities for development and improvement of competitions
- Provide data analysis on registration and competition matters
- Oversight and management of the NSFA Senior Women’s Competitions
- Oversight and management of the NSFA Men’s Competitions
- Oversight and management of the Men’s and Women’s Cup Competitions
- Oversight and management of NSFA Select Team matches
- Execution of the NSFA Competitions Strategy
- Support the organisation and delivery of Summer Football competitions
- Deliver effective administration of NSFA P.D & D.C matters
- Collaborate with the Competitions Department to update Regulations seasonally
- Collaborate with the Competitions Department to update Policies seasonally
- Management of the NSFA affiliation pack to Clubs (annual)
- Support the delivery of the NSFA Facilities Strategy
- Effective delivery of tasks for the NSFA (Protests, Disputes and Disciplinary Committee (P.D & D.C) processes
Critical success factors and requirements for the role include:
- Must be available for some weekend work when required, particularly during the Winter Competition season
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficient with the entire MS Office Suite of products
- Experience in record keeping and process documentation + improvement
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- An analytical mind that is comfortable with statistical and data analysis
- Understanding of the FFA online registration process – PlayFootball
- Knowledge of local NSFA Rules, Regulations, Competitions and club software would be desirable but can be trained
- Some experience with Web Content Management is desirable
- Maintaining key stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring consistent quality across Competitions; organisation, time management and communication
- Completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Understanding of the NSFA ecosystem
- Bachelor of Business Administration or Sports Management – highly desirable
