Expect all this and more when you join Linfox.What does the job look like?As the Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing commercial analysis and recommendations of customer contracts. You will challenge your financial and quantitative reporting skills and support our internal and external stakeholders in the growth and development of new and existing key customer contracts.As a key member of this high performing team of commercial specialists, you will be well positioned to learn all aspects of our critical business improvement solutions and make a true impact on our customers and our ability to deliver productive logistics solutions.Key areas:

  • Conduct modelling, commercial and operational analysis and reporting.
  • Develop the commercial aspects and financial modelling of new business opportunities.
  • Provide audit accuracy of financial and operational data/information.
  • Support the financial forecasting and financial budgeting process.
  • Develop process improvements to effect better operational and financial management.
  • Develop and manage key relationships across various departments to facilitate consistency and execution of commercial deliverables.
  • Scoping, developing, automating and maintaining various commercial reports.

Are you the one?You are an Accounting and Finance professional looking to cultivate a successful career within the Commercial space. You have a passion for analysis and transforming numbers into actionable, commercially focused insights. You are an effective communicator and have an ability to manage diverse relationships with clients and colleagues.You can demonstrate:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or related field.
  • CA, CFA, CPA Qualified or in the process of completing units.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in mid to high tier consultancy firms highly desirable.
  • Experience in Audit, Assurance, Tax or Insolvency.
  • Ability to reconcile financial information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical capability with exposure to modelling, data mining and summarising.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to consult with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience working various clients and industry types.
