Client Support Officer Schedules and ClaimsOperations | Brighton North precinctClosing date: 18/11/2024As the state’s largest not-for profit provider of intellectual disability services, Minda provides supported independent living accommodation, employment and community engagement options, as well as allied health and respite services.Everything we do is underpinned by our values of Respect, Heart, Opportunity, and Community, and we recruit skilled people who share these values.This is an exciting opportunity for a Client Support Officer with a sound understanding of NDIS billing requirements, to join our team on a full-time fixed term basis for 12 months. The role will ensure best practice outcomes by assisting to accurately and promptly bill for client services.What you will doWorking as part of a friendly and collaborative team, you will do the following:

  • Update service schedules in line with service agreements, and invoice approved claims.
  • Arrange billing for service areas such as Transport, Home and Living supports and community participation.
  • Ensure funding agreements for clients are implemented in line with NDIS plans and governance obligations.
  • Respond to enquiries and resolve disputes.
  • Perform reconciliations of billed services and investigate and correct billing errors.
  • Provide reports as required to relevant Minda Service units and to Finance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with operational teams to resolve billing roadblocks.

What you need for Success

  • Experience in invoicing/ accounts receivable, preferably related to NDIS services.
  • Knowledge of NDIS requirements relating to pricing schedules, services and supports.
  • Highly developed communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of products, and experience using ERP’s.
  • Sound experience with accounting systems and in working with large data captures.
  • Excellent financial management and administration skills.

  • Working with Childrens clearance
  • Unrestricted SA Drivers licence.
