• Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of beer, wine & spirits plus mixology, cocktail trends and batching cocktails.
• Monitoring and managing the cost of goods and inventory to maximise profitability.
• Implementing effective cost control measures without compromising on quality.
• Leading and inspiring a large and diverse team.
• Fostering a customer-centric environment, ensuring exceptional service and an elevated guest experience.
• Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to streamline bar operations.
• Optimising work flow to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times.
• Analysing financial reports to assess the performance of the bar and make data-driven decisions.
• Working closely with the management team to achieve financial targets.
• Flexibility with rostering and full weekend availability

Experience & Requirements

• Proven industry experience in high volume upscale venues
• Exceptional product knowledge
• Business, stock and inventory management acumen
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage and lead a large team
• RSA
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Bar Manager role
