Assistant Care T/Leader – EAS

• Permanent role
• $39.19p/h + Super + applicable penalty rates + home garaged fleet vehicle
• 76 hour fortnight Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

The role:Working within the Aged Community Care portfolio, Silver Chain is currently recruiting for Assistant Care Team Leaders who can commit to shifts 7:00am – 3pm. This is a permanent role based at Maddington.Assistant Care Team Leaders will be working in the community throughout the metro area and will be providing care to clients with varying needs and support to the CTL’s. Suitable candidates should be experienced with all levels of care including low, moderate, and complex care, and be comfortable to undertake duties with a variety of clients.About you:

• You should share our commitment to uphold and deliver care that is safe, personal, connected, and effective – Best Care, every person, every time.
• We are looking for those with a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent (or, be working towards this qualification)
• Experience working in the community
• Hold a full Australian driver’s licence and own transport for work purposes
• You will be responsible for mentoring other direct care employees and provide support to other internal stakeholders as required
• You will have sound knowledge of best practices whilst working in the community, possess strong interpersonal skills and be flexible in your approach
