That means creating an environment where each and every one of us has the opportunity to strive together for excellence.Job DescriptionYour new roleWe’re looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference-for our customers, for each other, and for CSC. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity as an Accounts Officer. You will be a team player, who enjoys collaborating in a high-performing team, has an interest in financial services and is motivated to learn about superannuation and defined benefits schemes at CSC.This is a part time temporary contract for 9 months. We are looking for people who are available to work 24 hours per week.As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for the accounts payable function of CSC. Key responsibilities include:

  • Process supplier invoices and employee related expenses in a timely and accurate man
  • Liaising with stakeholders on invoice queries
  • Administer the Cabcharge account including ordering cards, vouchers, issuing vouchers and reconciling the monthly account for payment
  • Administer the Corporate credit cards, processing applications, cancelling cards, changing credit card limits
  • Reconcile the Corporate Traveller statement back to travel requests and pay the monthly statement
  • Maintain the sub-delegation register and ensure all invoices are approved in line with Financial Delegations
  • Compile quarterly Accounts Payable compliance reports identifying breaches of the Procurement Policy and the Accounts Payable Policy

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time to time dependant on business needs and priorities.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you’ll need to excel:

  • Demonstrated timeliness and attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all tasks
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounts payable and treasury processes and procedures
  • Experience with Financial Management Information Systems (Technology One preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience
