The Principal Lead BI Solutions & Support is responsible in providing strategic leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions within TAFE SA. Leading a team of BI professionals, the role oversees the design and deployment of BI tools, reports, and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. The role also manages support services for deployed BI products and ensures that BI systems operate smoothly and efficiently. They collaborate closely with business units to understand business needs, prioritise initiatives, and champion data-driven decision-making processesTo be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading strategic direction, design and delivery of organisation-wide Business Intelligence projects.
  • Experience in managing the development and delivery of comprehensive user BI support services.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with data warehouse concepts, performance optimisation and integration of BI reporting solutions into enterprise models.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing Agile methodology projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of data governance principles.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and leading interviews.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating staff.
  • Detailed knowledge of privacy legislation, protective and security frameworks, and relevant government policies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required.
