Contracts Officer

About the Role:
The Melbourne Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain team at Randstad is looking for an Contracts Officer to join our client in local government. In this role, you’ll ensure contractor safety and compliance by developing, implementing, and maintaining our Contractor OHS Management Systems. You’ll work closely with the Strategic Procurement team and support Contract Managers across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain contractors database.
• Conduct OHS audits and assessments during the procurement process.
• Oversee contractor-reported safety incidents and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Identify and manage health and safety risks related to contractor management.
• Provide training to ensure contractors comply with OH&S policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in OHS or related field.
• Experience in OHS contractor management and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
