You will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems impacting enterprise data assets.You will understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards. You will take your data management experience and be able to sell the value of Data Management to stakeholders.Your teamThe Senior Business Analyst role sits within the Enterprise Data Office and will be a key member of the Data Management team. As part of the team you will contribute to and promote the bank-wide data management policy, guidelines and practices to support the Bank’s data management objectives and operations.Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in Requirements Management and can independently fulfil the BA activities and deliverables accordingly.Communicates complex and highly specialised issues in a way that is relevant and accessible to both a business and technical audience.Demonstrated experience in Business Process Management (or equivalent) and can independently fulfil the BA activities and deliverables accordingly.Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a specific deliverable or activity and deliver it with limited guidanceCan create well-structured presentation material for workshops, training sessions and senior management meetings using appropriate tools, techniques and technologies.Demonstrated experience in Data Management, including DAMA DM BoK, in the financial services industry, e.g. data quality management, Critical Data Element identification, business glossary.Excellent written and verbal communications skillsBe MoreWorking for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
