A successful and highly regarded construction contractor, have partnered with Design & Build to source an experienced Site Manager. They build a range of commercial newbuild and apartment projects.The project they’re currently hiring for is and apartment build based on the Sunshine Coast, it’s 5 up and 3 down.As the Site Manager you will be directly responsible for the control of the site team and its activities, including:
- Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
- Liaising with clients to ensure the project is delivered on schedule
- Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
- Working closely with the Project Manager managing the construction program
- Mentoring of less experienced staff
- Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site
Requirements to be considered for the Site Manager role:
- QBCC License
- Proven experience delivering D&C projects
- Proven experience delivering apartments
- Broad knowledge of OH&S
- Great management skills which will enable the team of sub-contractors to have the drive and motivation to meet deadlines
