Access theThe RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist – Senior (Clinical Trials) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will

  • Assess and review clinical trial proposals involving pharmaceutical therapies
  • Maintain pharmacy trial and Compassionate Access Programs records
  • Support for the conduct of the trial through preparation of Pharmacy specific workplace instructions
  • Liaise with pharmacy production staff to ensure high standards of quality assurance of manufactured products are maintained at all times

About youTo be successful in this position you will require:

  • Possession of a tertiary degree in Pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institution
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against – Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Temporary full time (up to 12 months with the possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $124 435 – $133 901 per annum

About UsThe Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS), 7 days a week. Our team of approximately 80 pharmacists are assisted in their roles by over 40 support persons comprising pharmacy assistants, administration officers, purchasing and stores personnel. The dispensary at each of the two hospital campuses is also equipped with automated dispensing robots to facilitate dispensing, distribution and inventory management activities.About Gold Coast Health
