ABOUT THE JOB:The Identity Management Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions to support our identity and access management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, and experience with related technologies.
This role will involve working closely with security, IT, and business teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of identity data across the organisation.KEY DUTIES:

• Extraction of large and complex data sets from Agency Identity Management System.
• Creation of custom reports for Services Australia and their shared services agencies including NDIA and DVA using requirements from business owners.
• Monitoring and development of regular reporting for use internally and externally.
• Manage the administration and operation of the database or reporting.
• Share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter exper and provide assistance and mentorship to colleagues

THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on identity management or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proven experience with Power BI and Apache Directory Studio
• Proficiency in other data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, ETL processes, data lakes, data warehousing).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related IAM services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
