Job description ABOUT THE COMPANY
Join a local council based in Northwest Sydney as a Project Engineer. This local council offers 35 hours per week with flexible working arrangements, including working from home, RDOs, and ongoing training and development.ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will also liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and manage the delivery of complex projects from start to finish.DUTIES
- Develop comprehensive project plans for relevant stakeholders
- Create initial budgets and preliminary cost estimates for pre-construction phases
- Coordinate and manage teams and resources
- Prepare project briefs, specifications, and tender documents
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction, or Engineering
- Previous experience in local government preferred
- Significant knowledge of infrastructure and building projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and Primavera P6
