ING is on the hunt for a Senior Operations Officer within Payments to join our growing family. You’ll be an integral part when it comes to processing customer payments and enquiries and will be on the front line assisting ING customers with their payments needs.You’ll be responsible for actioning client requests based on standard operating procedures with the highest degree of accuracy and efficiency, ensuring at all times SLAs are met and customers’ needs are satisfied.In addition, you’ll be processing financial and non-financial transactions, issuing Bank Cheques, processing incoming cheque deposits to customer accounts, you’ll be identifying and escalating potential issues, risks and system faults. You’ll also be managing and investigating cash queries both from internal and external stakeholders.Ready to do your thing?What you’ll do
- Process financial and non-financial transactions.
- Issue Bank Cheques.
- Process incoming cheque deposits to customer accounts.
- Identify and escalate potential issues and risks.
- Escalate system faults.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Update internal and external stakeholders on relevant enquiries.
What we’re looking for
- Knowledge in Payment Systems Such as SWIFT.
- Strong analytical skills.
- An understanding of reconciliations and accounting implications.
- Banking/Finance industry experience.
- Effective Verbal and written skills.
- The ability to streamline and improve processes and procedures where necessary.
