A high-end residential builder, located in the inner east with a portfolio of luxury projects showcasing excellence in design and construction with a strong pipeline of projects ranging up to $6m.Role Overview:
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Leading Hand Carpenter or Site Supervisor wanting to take that next step into a Site Manager role to oversee the execution of our clients prestigious residential projects. The ideal candidate must have a background in high-end residential construction working for a reputable builder and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to the success of their renowned projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Work 50/50 as Site Manager and on the tools.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople to maintain high-quality standards and efficient workflows.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and variations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or Site Supervisor in high-end residential construction, preferably with a reputable builder.
  • Carpentry background
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Sound understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are highly desirable.
  • Basement experience a bonus
