End User Analyst (Baseline Clearance)

Baseline Security Clearance requiredWe have an initial 6 month fixed term contract for an End User Analyst to join a federal government department within Brisbane. You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and support in your onsite interactions with the end users utilising our technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of end user support onsite and to remote users, providing provisioning and supporting Windows Clients, laptops, iPhones, Conferencing, and all staff in utilisation of their IT interactions such as M365.About the role

• The End User Computing team plays a pivotal role in the Infrastructure Team, supplying and managing staff productivity enablers including fixed and mobile devices, standard operating environment, collaboration and sharing solutions.
• The End User Analysts are important technology experts that will deliver positive and high standard end user personal experience within the day-to-day technology activities across the organisation.

• As you will be working in a geographically dispersed End User team, you will have strong capabilities in self-managing work and collaborating with people remotely, remaining connected to your team.
• You will assist End User Engineers and other technology teams in their deployment and support initiatives.

Qualifications, accreditations and experience

• 3+ years in a Service Desk / End User Support role
• Enthusiasm and developing knowledge of end user technologies
• Certifications in end user computing (ITIL / Microsoft 365 / A+) are highly desirable

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver onsite and remote user service support, ensuring high level of customer service and satisfaction in end user solutions, via telephone, email or in person in a courteous manner.
• Provisioning of Laptops, Mobile Phones, Applications and other IT solutions to the end user, delivering assistance and learning in usage of solutions.
• Assist End User Engineers and other technology teams in the testing and implementation of software and hardware upgrades, updates, and system solutions approved by management and in coordination with third-party vendors, as required.
• Operations and configuration of end user applications including Microsoft 365, Intune and Defender.
• Maintain and improve documentation of incident, problem resolution and operating procedures, to work towards root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, file backups, and configuring systems and applications, as required.
• Onsite support is required to meet service delivery requirements. Attendance onsite will be planned with consideration of any flexible work arrangements and the broader End User and Technology Services team.
