5/2/4/3 RosterAbout the Role:WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our leading mining client, based in Perth. This position will support the Engineering Projects Team as a Senior Specialist Project Manager in the Port Engineering Team. The successful candidate will ideally have strong leadership and electrical project engineering experience. This role is a 6â12-month duration FIFO to Port Hedland.Key Responsibilities will include:ÂLead multiple projects in collaboration with Functional and Operations stakeholders to define scope, budget, schedule, and specifications.Coach and develop team members in Project Management using the Small Project Management Framework (SPMF).Oversee design process management, including contracts, procurement, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.Seek opportunities to reduce risk and optimise delivery of projects.Coordinate with teams, departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to support project execution.Monitor and report project progress regularly, addressing deviations from the approved program.Identify and manage HSE and commercial risks within projects.Perform quality field leadership activities and provide feedback.Manage project handover to Operations, ensuring updated change control documentation and relevant 1SAP Master Data Changes.Skills & Experience Required:ÂKnowledge and experience with the Small Projects Management Framework (SPMF)Background in Electrical Engineering preferred.Proven track record in safety management and a safety-first approach in project deliveryCompetence in Project/Portfolio ManagementExpertise in project delivery processes, financial assessment, and project tracking/reportingStrong and effective stakeholder engagementHigh attention to detailProficient written and verbal communication skillsCurrent C Class driversâ licenceAbout WorkPacWorkPac is Australiaâs largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
