Mechanical Fitter

Searson Buck are seeking a Mechanical Fitter for our client in Devonport, TASMechanical Fitter required for preventative and general maintenanceDuties:

• Responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to assemble mechanical components
• Ensuring proper alignment and fit.
• Troubleshooting issues with machinery, identifying, and resolving mechanical problems
• Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
• Required to operate hand and power tools
• Welding equipment, and other machinery to fabricate or repair metal components.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Good Communication skills coordinate with supervisors, team members
