As the Haematology Trials Fellow, you will develop expertise in the diagnosis and management of haematological disorders, which will include exposure to clinical research and clinical trials. You will work collaboratively with patients, scientific staff, and other health professionals from other public and private health services to achieve high quality service provision to patients. You will be responsible for understanding, reviewing, and implementing treatment protocols, quality monitoring requirements including clinical audit and critical reviews.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Medical Qualification (MBBS or equivalent) which is recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Completed training with FRACP/FRCPA or FRACP only (or international equivalent) for Haematology. Advanced trainees in their final year of training will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
- Registration or eligibility to register with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical and diagnostic haematology.
- Demonstrated experience in basic laboratory, translational and clinical research.
