Head Chef

We are seeking experienced Head Chef to join our Catering Team at Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital on a full-time basis.About the RoleHillcrest Private Hospital is seeking an experienced chef with strong qualifications who is looking to step away from the hotel/restaurant industry into a rewarding environment with a lifestyle roster. Rostered between 10:00am – 5:30pm across a 7 day roster you will have planned, structured shifts to allow for a quality lifestyle balance with no split shifts. This position is available for an immediate start.In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, doctors and functions, ensuring a high standard in quality of Hospital food production and cleanliness within the department in line with required Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and Hospital policy.This is a fast-paced role that requires strong time management to effectively meet the needs of the hospital’s food services. • A passion for culinary preparation and service
• Ideally, you will bring experience within a commercial kitchen and experience catering for a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle high volume catering workflows will be key to this role.
