The FPC primarily works in the pine plantation forestry sector across the diverse environment of Western Australia. Their work is shaping the future of the forest products industry.The FPC has transitioned its business in alignment with the government’s changes in forest policy. This will result in a shift from commercial scale native forestry management to being a contract manager providing contracted harvest and haul services to the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions for forest health outcomes. The FPC will maintain its increased softwood plantation development activity to support WA’s housing and construction industry.About the roleIn this busy and challenging role, the People and Culture Consultant assists the People and Culture team in the delivery of solutions-focused and contemporary people related services. The role delivers a comprehensive senior human resource consultancy service, as well as assisting with the development and implementing of new work practices and programs. Working effectively with a range of stakeholders, the position is responsible for the design, development, review and implementation of work programs to support strategic and operational human resources and safety management practices including return to work, wellbeing and employee support programs.
