About the RoleWe are looking for Hospital Medical Officers (PGY3+) to join our critical care Emergency Medicine stream in 2023. Residents will have the opportunity to rotate through areas of Critical Care located at our main Hospital in Fitzroy, a number of our partner Hospitals across Melbourne and regional opportunities as well. Support for HMOs wishing to apply for ACEM training will be provided.About The Emergency DepartThe Emergency Department provides care to approximately 48,000 patients per annum, with a 40% admission rate. Rotations can include Emergency Medicine at St Vincent’s, Emergency Medicine at Warrnambool, Anaesthetics or ICU at St Vincent’s.Classifications for this position will range from HM13 – HM18 ($95,829.24 – $146,230.24 per annum)Duration of appointment: Feb 2025 – Feb 2026Your Contribution
- MBBS or equivalent
- Hold current Provisional or General AHPRA registration
- Qualification of PGY3+
- Willing to obtain a National Criminal History check
