Regents Garden
Regents Garden Scarborough is a well-established Aged Care facility that has the ‘wow’ factor from the moment you walk in.
We are looking to recruit a full time, experienced and qualified Chef Manager to lead our dedicated catering team.
The successful applicant will have experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people.
The primary responsibilities will include maintaining efficient management and delivery of food services for residents, and management of the catering team in consultation with the Facility Manager.
Requirements for this position are:
- Trade qualified to Certificate III or equivalent.
- Preparation of quality meals in accordance with the menu plan.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks to the catering team.
- Weekly ordering of food, food storage according to the relevant regulations, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Management of resident’s dietary requirements.
- Knowledge of IDDSI texture modification guidelines.
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety practices.
- Conduct audits and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Full Australian working rights and able to work Monday – Friday.
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza
Previous experience in aged care is desired but not essential.
