ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Our client is a Professional Quantity Surveying firm that has a strong international presence and well known in Australia. They hold an impeccable portfolio of large scale projects including Commercial, Residential, Hospitals, Universities, Schools, Laboratories, Retail, etc. This PQS firm is seeking a qualified Executive Quantity Surveyor for their Perth office. ABOUT THE POSITION.

In this position, you will be required to undertake the responsibilities of leading a close knit team of enthusiastic Quantity Surveyors and providing them with consistent mentorship and guidance. As an Executive Quantity Surveyor, you will heavily involved in ensuring that all work is executed seamlessly from the initial stage throughout the handover stage of the project. You will be given the golden opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects depending on your experience and preference.

DUTIES.

  • Prepare budgets and benchmarks
  • Responsible for cost planning and estimating
  • Prepare bank draw down reports
  • Manage progress claims
  • Lead and support a team of Quantity Surveyors

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
  • Minimum 5 years Professional Quantity Surveying in Australia
  • CostX or Buildsoft experience is essential
  • Lead a team and involvement in all aspects of a project
