Your team will be made up of Relationship Executives & Analysts in Adelaide. We manage a diversified client base, and provide full Business & Commercial Banking solutions.
The segment we focus on is businesses that turnover between $3m – $15m delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including cash flow, capital, wealth, risk management and investment advice.

Do work that matters
In this role, you will get the opportunity to provide meaningful solutions for a portfolio of diversified business clients with complex banking needs. These clients will mainly be in the retail and hospitality industries. Understanding the specific needs and goals of your clients will help you to use your relationships to help them understand new opportunities. You will use your insights, experience and expertise, along with a great range of innovative products and services, to help move these businesses forward and to grow our client base.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Business Banker or Analyst from business banking who is looking to join a successful and motivated team, to develop and enhance their experience within complex, high value lending and to be part of a team who are on a growth journey.
You will manage an existing book of established clients with the expectation that in addition to providing excellent service to these clients, you will also focus on new client acquisition as well as identifying further opportunities for both new and existing clients.
More specifically, you will
- Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service
- Use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new to bank opportunities
- Gain an in depth understanding of complex client needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions
- Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions
- Continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across the region
We want to hear from you if you have
- Experience in successfully building and leading a successful Business Banking portfolio
- Experience in business/commercial lending
- A deep understanding of banking products and services
- Sound financial analysis and credit skills, with a strong understanding of financial documents and the underlying cash-flow drivers
- A real passion for customer service and driving new business
- Experience with retail or hospitality sectors would be highly advantageous
